We had a fantastic response from our first skydiving weekend and we are calling on more daredevils to take the plunge for our next ‘Jump With Us’ event on Saturday 30 July to help us celebrate our 30th Anniversary.

We have spaces reserved at airfields in Salisbury, Durham, Lancaster and Kent and would love our supporters to join in the fun and sign up. Each skydiver has a fundraising target of £395, to cover the cost of the jump.

At the first event on 30 April, seven dedicated supporters, including celebrities and Rainbow Trust Family Support Workers, jumped 10,000 feet from a plane, raising over £4,500. We would like to thank Hugo Taylor; Pandora Christie; Tasha Smith; Wendy Thompson; Luci Green; Amy Brian and Robyn Gregory for taking part.

Rainbow Trust’s Director of Marketing and Fundraising Emma Haines said:

“Thank you to all the brave skydivers who overcame their fear and took to the skies. Their fundraising efforts mean that we can help families overcome some of the immense challenges they face when caring for a life threatened or terminally ill child.”

Rainbow Trust is celebrating its 30th Anniversary throughout 2016. For more information and to sign up for a skydive click here.

For anyone preferring to keep their feet firmly on the ground, there are plenty of other challenges you can get involved with, take a look. Or a one off donation of £3 can be made by texting RAINBOW to 70111. Read our full terms and conditions.
