Richard joined the Rainbow Trust Board of Trustees in July 2023 and is a member of the Fundraising Committee, bringing a strong background in law and private client advisory.
He began his career as a private equity and finance lawyer at Allen & Overy and Macfarlanes, becoming a partner at Macfarlanes in 2008. In 2012, Richard left legal practice to co-found a business with his wife, Sophie. Today, he is the co-founder and CEO of RFR, a leading private client advisory firm, and serves as a senior advisor to individuals, families, and global family offices—primarily in high-value real estate. He is also a senior adviser to Lennox Investment Management LLP.
Richard is passionate about using his professional and personal experience to support Rainbow Trust’s fundraising strategy.
He lives in London with his wife and their two sons, and they are committed Spurs fans (through the good and bad) and never far from a sports pitch whether watching, coaching or playing!
