Charles is a senior executive with over 25 years’ experience in law, investment banking, venture capital and healthcare. In 2015, he helped found Mereo BioPharma, a London based, Nasdaq listed company where he is currently General Counsel, which is developing drug candidates for treating patients with rare diseases and oncology. He has experience in large, medium and start-up businesses in the UK, Europe and the US and between 2013 and 2016 was a member of the Mayor of London’s Digital, Creative, Science and Technology (DCST) Working Group as part of the London Enterprise Panel. Prior to that Charles worked for Nomura and Freshfields in London. Charles joined the Rainbow Trust Board of Trustees in January 2022.
