We are delighted to announce that Investigo has chosen Rainbow Trust as their Charity of the Year for 2023.

Investigo have an extremely impressive record of supporting charities, aiming to raise over £100,000 every year for charity. Staff are committed to making a real difference to people’s lives and this is reflected in their choice to support Rainbow Trust. By working with the team at Investigo, Rainbow Trust can continue to provide vital practical and emotional support for families caring for a seriously ill child.

Investigo’s support is particularly valuable during these challenging times when families with a child with a life-threatening or terminal condition are being disproportionately impacted by the cost-of-living crisis. Families are having to choose between paying electricity bills to keep life-saving medical equipment running for their seriously ill child, putting food on the table, and paying for transport to and from hospital appointments.

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of visiting Investigo’s London offices to chat to staff about the work we do at Rainbow Trust. Family Support Worker from the London and South East Care team, Angie, gave an insight into what a typical day is like supporting families with a seriously ill child.

Michael Thornton, Director of Public Sector Consulting at Investigo, said:

“We are delighted to be supporting the Rainbow Trust in 2023 at a period when many families face additional hardships during difficult socioeconomic times. Charity and community are important to Investigo – it is not just about raising money for much needed causes, but critically engaging to enact change, educate and raise awareness. Aside from the important work they do, we chose to partner with the Rainbow Trust because of the scope of opportunity for our employees to work closely with the charity on volunteering and fund-raising opportunities. For us, charity is not a means to an end but an important part of everyday behaviour and values reflected in our day-to-day business ethos.”

Elodie Pinn, Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser, said:

“Rainbow Trust relies on support from businesses who operate in the communities we work in and we are so grateful to the employees at Investigo for choosing to support us. I look forward to working more closely with the charity committee and planning some exciting fundraising events. Most importantly I am really looking forward to seeing what we can achieve together to help ensure families with a seriously ill child can continue to receive the crucial support they so desperately need. Thank you, Investigo!”

Here’s to a great year!
