Jay Connor, whose family is supported by Rainbow Trust after his daughter was diagnosed with a complex heart condition, is taking part on behalf of Rainbow Trust for the third time and together with an 18-strong team of friends is aiming to raise £4,500 for the charity.
“The support that Rainbow Trust has given my family has been incredible. Our Rainbow Trust Family Support Worker, Eleanor, was there from our daughter’s diagnosis and every step of the way thereafter.
“Eleanor had the insight and experience that we both needed which has been a great comfort and offered us peace of mind. Nothing has ever been too much trouble and we have always been able to rely on her. We want other families in similar situations to be fortunate enough to receive the same support that we have.”
