Take a walk on the wild side and be a dare-devil for Rainbow Trust!

Feel the freedom of flying at speeds of up to 130mph, all whilst standing on the outside of a plane! Manoeuvres will include steep turns, dives and zoom climbs, transitioning from positive -G to weightlessness, leaving you totally exhilarated!

You’ll be able to bring along friends and family and they’ll be able to watch you as you fly directly above the aerodrome.

Your wing walk will be organised through the challenge provider The Wing Walk Company, so you can choose a time and date that suits you!

Requirements:

• Aged between 18 - 80 years
• No taller than 6ft 2 inches (189cm)
• Able to climb unassisted up to the rig, positioned on the wing of the aeroplane
• At Headcorn, Henstridge & Wickenby Aerodrome The Wing Walker must weigh no more than 89kgs (14st)
• At Sywell Aerodrome The Wing Walker must weight no more than 85kg (13.3st)

Current available locations & dates:

• Headcorn (TN27 9HX) Main location, we fly here Friday – Monday between April – October
• Wickenby (LN3 5AX) 26th – 28th June & 21st – 23rd August 2026
• Henstridge (BA8 0TN) 29th – 31st May & 4th – 6th September 2026
• Sywell (NN6 0BN) TBC 19th & 20th June & 7th & 8th August 2026

What to expect:

• A warm welcome by our team
• A 15 minute Health & Safety briefing to demonstrate; how to climb up to the rig, what to expect from your Wing Walk, safety procedures etc.
• Allow 2 hours between your briefing and completing your Wing Walk
• A 10 minute airborne flight
• Talk to your pilot before your flight to tailor your experience to achieve the maximum adrenaline experience or a more relaxed flight
• Viewing area for friends and family to come and watch directly in front of the wing walk aircraft, for them to capture the perfect photographs and videos
• Option to purchase a recording of your Wing Walk from 2 on-board HD camera’s with Pilot’s commentary for £50
• A certificate for the completion of your Wing Walk Experience
• A Rainbow Trust t-shirt and rainbow hair!
