Vietnam Trek & Bear Sanctuary Challenge 2027
Take on the adventure of a lifetime and discover the breathtaking beauty of northern Vietnam while raising vital funds for families caring for a seriously ill child.
This incredible 13-day challenge combines inspiring trekking through remote Vietnamese landscapes with meaningful conservation work at the renowned FOUR PAWS Bear Sanctuary in Ninh Binh. From vibrant cities and peaceful rice terraces to jungle trails and traditional villages, every step of this journey will help Rainbow Trust continue supporting families through the toughest times imaginable.
About the Challenge
Beginning in Hanoi, you’ll travel deep into the spectacular Pu Luong Nature Reserve where you’ll trek through emerald rice paddies, bamboo forests and ethnic minority villages. Along the way, you’ll stay in traditional homestays, experience authentic Vietnamese culture and challenge yourself across varied and rewarding terrain.
The adventure continues with three unforgettable days at the FOUR PAWS Bear Sanctuary, where rescued bears are rehabilitated after being saved from illegal wildlife trade and bile farming. Participants will learn more about wildlife conservation, meet the expert teams caring for the bears and take part in hands-on activities supporting the sanctuary’s work.
Your journey ends in the stunning region of Tam Coc, often described as “Halong Bay on land”, where you’ll enjoy peaceful scenery, local culture and time to reflect on your incredible achievement.
