In 2026, we’re taking a small, adventurous team into the heart of the Italian Alps to experience one of the most thrilling and scenic mountain adventures in Europe - the Via Ferrata in the Dolomites.

Over six unforgettable days, you’ll traverse dramatic ridgelines, scale sheer cliff faces, and cross suspended bridges, all while securely clipped into fixed steel cables on historic via ferrata routes. No prior climbing experience is needed - just a good level of fitness, a sense of adventure, and a head for heights.

Date: To Be Confirmed

Your journey begins with a group transfer from Venice to our base in the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its jagged limestone peaks, alpine meadows, and WWI-era mountain paths.

With expert Irish and local guides leading the way, you'll develop the confidence and skills to tackle a range of routes - from introductory climbs to high-level alpine traverses.

Your week will include:

  • Learning how to safely use via ferrata gear
  • Climbing historic iron routes used during WWI
  • Navigating exposed ridgelines and vertical ladders
  • Trekking to stunning summits with panoramic views
  • Staying in cosy, high-mountain rifugios

Each day brings new challenges, incredible scenery, and a huge sense of achievement as you gain confidence on the iron paths. Evenings are spent relaxing in traditional mountain huts, sharing stories over hearty meals, and watching the sun dip below the peaks.
