The Trans Andean Coast to Coast is a 1,700km journey from the Pacific Ocean in Chile to the Atlantic Ocean in Argentina, taking riders through some of South America's most spectacular and varied landscapes. From coastal roads and towering mountain passes to vineyards, vast plains and vibrant cities, this is a challenge that delivers unforgettable memories at every turn.

Your adventure begins on Chile's Pacific coast, where you'll dip your wheel in the ocean before heading inland towards the mighty Andes. One of the defining moments of the challenge is the epic climb to over 3,800 metres, crossing the Andes Mountains via the historic Christ the Redeemer Pass. Along the way, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of Aconcagua, the highest mountain in the Americas, and experience the thrill of crossing from Chile into Argentina under your own power.

After conquering the mountains, the route descends into Argentina's famous Mendoza wine region. Known for its world-class Malbec vineyards, stunning scenery and incredible food, Mendoza offers a well-earned reward before the journey continues eastwards across the vast Argentine Pampas. Expect long open roads, changing landscapes and the unique experience of cycling across an entire country alongside fellow adventurers.

The challenge culminates in Buenos Aires, where you'll complete your coast-to-coast crossing by dipping your wheel into the Atlantic Ocean. It's a moment few cyclists ever experience – standing on the opposite side of a continent knowing you've travelled there entirely by bike.
