About The Wall

The Wall is a 70-mile (112km) point-to-point ultramarathon crossing some of England's most historic landscapes. Starting beneath Carlisle Castle and finishing on Newcastle's famous Quayside, participants follow the line of Hadrian's Wall through rolling countryside, rugged trails and picturesque villages before reaching the iconic bridges spanning the River Tyne. The event is fully supported, fully waymarked and designed to be completed within a generous 26-hour time limit.
