About Japan Sea to Summit

Japan Sea to Summit is a 50km endurance challenge that starts at sea level and climbs all the way to the summit of Mount Fuji at 3,776 metres. Over five incredible days, participants acclimatise with a hike on Mount Asama before tackling the main event: a 35km run and trek through central Honshu followed by a guided 15km ascent to Japan's most famous mountain. After reaching the summit, participants celebrate their achievement at the beautiful Lake Kawaguchi with stunning views back towards Mount Fuji.
