Embark on an unforgettable adventure and discover the breathtaking beauty, spirituality and culture of the Indian Himalayas on this incredible trekking challenge.

This unique expedition combines spectacular Himalayan trekking with the opportunity to experience the home of the exiled Tibetan community in Dharamsala — residence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Trekking through remote mountain landscapes, ancient forests and traditional villages, you’ll challenge yourself physically while raising vital funds to support families caring for a seriously ill child.

About the Challenge

Your adventure begins in the vibrant capital city of Delhi before travelling north into the Himalayan foothills to Dharamsala, a spiritual centre filled with Buddhist monasteries, colourful prayer flags and Tibetan culture. Here, you’ll learn more about Buddhism, Tibetan traditions and the history of the Dalai Lama’s community in exile.

From Dharamsala, your five-day trek takes you deep into the spectacular Himalayan landscape. Following remote mountain trails along the Uhl Valley, you’ll pass through rhododendron forests, alpine meadows, terraced farmland and isolated villages rarely visited by tourists. Along the way, you’ll encounter breathtaking mountain scenery, traditional shepherd communities and peaceful Buddhist monasteries.

Camping beneath star-filled skies and surrounded by snow-capped peaks, this challenge offers an authentic and rewarding trekking experience in one of the world’s most inspiring regions.

The journey concludes with visits to the historic Baijnath Temple and the Norbulingka Institute, dedicated to preserving Tibetan arts and culture, before returning to Delhi to celebrate your incredible achievement.
