We simply could not do what we do without you! The £0.00 you have raised means that seriously ill children, like Maya, and their families can receive the vital support they desperately need. After being diagnosed with hypoplastic left heart syndrome, Maya had her first open heart surgery when she was just ten days old. A time that should have been filled with excitement and new baby joy was replaced with regular hospital appointments and worry for Katie, Maya's mum. Thanks to wonderful supporters like you, Family Support Worker Wendy was able to help Maya’s family receive a vital lifeline of support. "What makes Wendy and Rainbow Trust shine for me is that the support is not just tangible. Without the calls and somebody to talk to during the isolation and hard days, it would have been extremely detrimental to my mental health, and that would have impacted hugely on my daughters Maya and Ezri too.
