Bea suffered heart failure and cardiac arrest at 15 months old. She needed a heart transplant and stayed in hospital for 14 months.
Parents can’t stay the night so every evening Cheryl and Terry, Bea’s parents, said goodnight to their baby, not knowing if it would be the last time. Knowing that you can count on a Family Support Worker like Monica when you are on the edge is invaluable.
Thanks to wonderful supporters like you, Family Support Worker Monica was able to help with what is of most value and assistance to Bea’s family, making the challenges they faced that bit more manageable.
