At the height of the pandemic, Jaxson's mum, Sophie, was alone when she was given the devastating news of her son’s leukaemia diagnosis. For three years Jaxson was constantly in and out of hospital, enduring months of treatment and appointments.
Rainbow Trust Family Support Worker Wendy began providing the family with emotional and practical support in January 2023. Sophie had someone to open up to, who understands their situation. Wendy also provided respite and spent time with the children, giving them some normality.
