If you are celebrating a special occasion this year and cannot possibly cram any more gifts into your house, then we have the perfect solution for you. Why not think about asking your friends and family to donate money to Rainbow Trust Children's Charity rather than give you presents?
When Sadie Bedford celebrated her 40th birthday, she overcame adverse weather conditions and a national flu bug to throw a party in aid of Rainbow Trust. Thanks to Sadie and all her kind guests, £230 was raised to support children with life threatening or terminal illnesses.
Whether you are celebrating a birthday, anniversary, wedding, christening or even a retirement party, Special Occasion Giving is a simple way to celebrate whilst raising vital funds to support families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness.
Why not get family and friends together to celebrate, whilst raising money for the families that Rainbow supports.
Our supporters have so far raised a total of £5,456 this financial year from Special Occasion events, including 40th, 50th, 60th and even 90th Birthdays, Wedding anniversaries and Weddings. Why not make your "Special Occasion" even more special by raising funds for Rainbow Trust.
How we can help make your celebration a success
From donation cards that can be included with your invitations, to raffle tickets, balloons, badges and posters, we’ll provide you with everything that you need to make it easy for your guests to give. We also promise to individually thank every donor on your behalf and will be sure to let you know the grand total raised in your honour after the big day!
