Long after flowers have faded, donations made in memory of a loved one live on. When we write to thank you we will let you know the grand total that has been raised in your loved one's honour.
In Memory gifts enable Rainbow Trust to be there for families in crisis at a time when they need us most.
This year, In Memory donations funded a new Family Support Worker enabling us to give both emotional and practical support to over 1,000 families.
The support we give to families is unique and the feedback we have from familes about the difference we make to their lives is touching;
"Pam came twice a week and when I was on my knees with exhaustion she sat with Lucas so that I could have a few hours of respite to do some shopping or sleep. She was never fazed, she was calm and strong which was just what I needed." Lesley Farnell, Lucas's mum.
Our work supporting these families is vital and it needs to continue and grow so that one day all children with a life threatening or terminal illness and their families will have access to a Rainbow carer.
