Office support
We are always looking for volunteers to come into our offices to support our fundraising teams with a wide range of administrative tasks. Do you have a few hours to spare a week and would like to help a local charity? If so we would love to hear from you.
Event support
We simply could not run the huge range of events we do without the support, energy and enthusiasm of our volunteers. Do you want to be part of a team helping at our numerous fundraising events held throughout the year?
We are also looking for volunteers to dress up as Rainbow's Bungle, Zippy and George at upcoming events. Not only is it an opportunity to let loose and have fun, you will be playing an important role in helping us raise money to support families who have a child with a terminal illness.
We are currently looking for volunteers for the following dates:
- Saturday 25 February: Fundraising Ball at The Park Lane Hotel. 17.30 - 22.00
Becoming a Rainbow Ambassador If you have experience in public speaking or giving presentations, why not use your skills to help us raise the profile of Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity to local community groups, schools and clubs? We are unable to fulfil the many speaking engagements that are offered to us each year and are keen to find more Ambassadors to help us spread the word about our vital charity.
Collection box collectors
We are looking for volunteers with their own cars who would be willing to deliver and collect our collection boxes to local businesses. Read more about collection boxes.
Working with our care teams
By volunteering alongside our care staff it enables us to enhance the service that we provide, allowing family members to participate in social activities that would not be possible without support from Rainbow Trust.
If you have a particular skill and are looking to volunteer please do not be put off if you do not see any suitable roles, as we often have projects that require specific knowledge. Please get in touch with us as we might be able to put your skills and experience to good use.
