Albert Bennett
Albert Bennett is one of our fantastic Ambassadors and has been an avid supporter of Rainbow Trust for over a decade. He frequently attends events where he engages the audience with his tales of the Second World War. Albert always tells his audiences about Rainbow Trust and asks for a donation in exchange for his time. In 2008, we held a local event where Albert recalled the time spent as a fighter plane engineer to over 80 people, helping us raise over £500.

Jo Jones
Jo has been a regular volunteer at our head office twice a week for nearly two years. She helps with various tasks, both on the computer and around the office including selling toys on eBay, hand writing thank you cards and researching chocolate shops! Jo is a full time Mum and is able to fit her volunteering routine around her family life. Jo also volunteers at events as and when she is able which can range from helping to sell raffle tickets and doughnuts, to running a children’s lucky-dip.

Maggie Micallef
Maggie has been volunteering since 2006 and keeps everyone smiling with her bubbly personality and excellent tea-making ability! Maggie comes to the office several times a week and has clocked up an impressive 1,998 hours since she started. Maggie helps us with various office admin including shredding, laminating, franking and helping with large mailings. She is a great asset to our team.

Trish, Emily and Louise Swyny
The Swyny Family are always the first to offer their support when we need it. Trish regularly comes into the office to help with whatever needs doing and Emily attends our Tuesday night volunteer session which fits in nicely with her exams and study. The youngest member of the family, Louise, loves to hand out balloons and shake a bucket for Rainbow wherever she can. The Swyny’s also made a name for themselves at last year’s carol concert where Louise and her brother Joe gave beautiful readings.

Helen and Sheila Fidgeon
Sisters Helen and Sheila have been supporting Rainbow Trust at our events for many years. They can often be found at local village fairs selling cakes or running a children’s tombola. Helen and Sheila are keen volunteers who also get heavily involved with our Carol Concert.
