Recycle

Do you want to help the environment and at the same time raise vital funds for Rainbow Trust? Read on to find out how.

Pics of items which can be recycled for Rainbow Trust Childrens Charity

In 2009 Rainbow Trust raised over £23,000 from recycling; an amazing amount of money from unwanted items. Rainbow’s recycling scheme means that you can support us through recycling your old mobile phone, jewellery or foreign currency.

Rainbow would be delighted to accept donations of all the recyclable materials listed above from individuals, community groups, companies and schools.

Recycling mobile phones

Did you know that there are 60 million unused mobile phones in the UK and only 10% of these are currently being recycled?

How you can help

Every phone that is recycled for Rainbow Trust raises vital funds. If you have an old handset that you wish to donate simply request a freepost envelope from Rainbow Trust, put the phone in the envelope and then just pop it the post. Alternatively you can put the phone into a plain envelope and send it to:

Working in partnership with www.jewelleryrecycling.org we can recycle gold, silver, costume jewellery - even ornaments or cutlery.

Foreign Currency Collections

Been abroad recently? Don't let your leftover foreign currency go to waste when you can donate it to Rainbow Trust. Working in partnership with www.coincoplc.co.uk we accept notes and coins of any currency and even old European currency that is no longer valid.
