We currently have Friends of Rainbow groups in the South of England who play an important role in raising funds for Rainbow Trust. They are supported by a dedicated member of staff who is always on the end of the phone to offer advice and encouragement.
What makes our Friends groups so special is that each group is totally different. Every group is set up as they see fit and is led entirely by the wishes of the group members. Some groups just arrange one large event a year, and other groups meet regularly to organise a programme of activities throughout the year.
Why should you join a group?
- to be actively involved in your local community
- to make new friends and have fun
- to develop skills in fundraising and event organisation
- to help make a difference to families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness
If you are interested in joining or starting a friends group please email Sarah Tuckwell or call her on 01372 220013.
