Community groups play a vital role in helping us to raise this money, ensuring that we are there when we are called upon. Read this section to find out how you can get your community involved.

Fundraising ideas

There are many fun ways to get your community involved in fundraising for Rainbow Trust. Read this section to get ideas such as getting your children to complete a chore a day or organising a schools talent competition.

Schools and nurseries

It is estimated that schools raise an amazing £200million a year for charity. If you’re school is looking for a charity to support then we’d love you to choose Rainbow Trust.

Universities

We are always on the lookout for enthusiastic students who want to raise money. Our community fundraising team is on hand to offer you practical advice, support and tips to help make your fundraising a success.

Groups and clubs

Are you a member of a group such as the Brownies, a place of worship, a golf club or a choir? Do you have a garden you’d like to open to the public or would you like to put your baking skills to good use? If so, please read on.

Friends groups

Would you like to get together with a group of your friends to have fun, socialise and raise much needed funds for Rainbow Trust? Our Friends of Rainbow groups do just that whilst raising awareness of our work amongst their local communities.
