What’s it all about?

We would just like to say a big WELL DONE to our team of 70 marathon runners that all completed the very first Virgin London Marathon.

We are so grateful for all of your hard work in your fundraising and training!

With more than 35,000 people taking part, the London Marathon is one of the most popular and exciting events in the world. Raising well over £40 million for charity each year it is also the largest single fundraising event in the world. Thousands of spectators line the streets of London every year to spur on runners, ensuring an electric atmosphere along the entire route. The race is high on most people’s ‘to do’ lists and widely recognised as the best marathon in the world. For more information about the event please visit Virgin London Marathon.

How will Rainbow Trust support me?

Training for and running a marathon whilst raising sponsorship and maintaining a daily routine at home and at work, is immensely demanding. We pride ourselves in giving our runners the best possible support and encouragement in the lead up to and after the event.

We will provide you with:

  • An eye-catching professional running vest
  • Iron on letters supplied from www.teetransfers.co.uk
  • A running pack full of great fundraising ideas and professional training advice
  • Exclusive training days with Team GB Triathlete, Ralph Hydes
  • An invite for you, your family and friends to our post race reception where you can be treated by one of our massage therapists
  • Rainbow merchandise and fundraising materials to assist you in reaching your fundraising target
  • Loud, colourful support from our cheering squads on the day

How do I sign up?
