Virgin London Marathon 2012 - What’s it all about?
Are you feeling inspired? Do you want to take on the challenge of a lifetime? Rainbow Trust Children's Charity is now accepting applications for the Virgin London Marathon on April 22nd 2012. With more than 35,000 people taking part, the London Marathon is one of the most popular and exciting events in the world. Raising well over £40 million for charity each year it is also the largest single fundraising event in the world. Thousands of spectators line the streets of London every year to spur on runners, ensuring an electric atmosphere along the entire route. The Virgin London Marathon is high on most people’s ‘to do’ lists and widely recognised as the best marathon in the world.
How will Rainbow Trust support me?
Training for and running a marathon whilst raising sponsorship and maintaining a daily routine at home and at work, is immensely demanding. We pride ourselves in giving our charity runners the best possible support and encouragement in the lead up to and after the event.
We will provide you with:

How do I sign up for the Virgin London Marathon 2012?
If you are lucky enough to have secured your own place the Virgin London Marathon 2012, we'd love you to join the Rainbow team and help us to raise funds to support our work with families that have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness.
Alternatively we have a select few guaranteed places for the Virgin London Marathon 2012 and please do contact Mark on the details below for more information. We ask that all of our runners pay a £120 registration fee and raise £1600.

Join the Rainbow Trust Events Team for the London Marathon 2012!
Volunteering for Rainbow Trust at the London Marathon is a fantastic day out with an atmosphere like no other!
If you are free for all or part of the day and fancy coming along then we would love to hear from you!
We need help in setting up the Rainbow Trust post race reception and also cheering on and supporting our Rainbow runners.
Not only will you have a wonderful time but you will also receive a Rainbow Trust colourful t-shirt to keep!!
