What’s it all about?
Are you ready for the walk of your life? Have you got what it takes to be a ThunderWalker? ThunderWalk 2012 is a team-based endurance challenge where teams of 4 (plus a driver) tackle 54 miles of some of the best walking trails the UK has to offer.
The challenge is for each team to cross the highest peaks in the Brecon Beacons and South Wales – Pen y Fan (886m), Corn Du (873m), Cribyn (795m) and Fan y Big (719m) in 24 hours.

How do I sign up?
It’s quick and easy to sign up for ThunderWalk 2012 simply log onto thunderwalk.com and download, complete and return the registration form to the ThunderWalk team.
To take part in this challenge we ask that teams pay a registration fee of £199 and then raise a minimum sponsorship of £1,800.
Alternatively walkers can self fund the event:
- Pay the registration fee of £199
- Pay the balance of £720 6 weeks prior to the event
- Raise whatever funds they can for Rainbow Trust
