New Year, New You

What is Firewalking?

Can you overcome your fears, and walk on burning embers? This is a mental challenge which will take you out of your comfort zone. Completing a Firewalk is the ultimate test of mind over matter.

What is Glasswalking?

Walking on glass is an exercise in challenging and developing the mind/body connection. It can prove to be a rewarding and unforgettable experience in your journey to a greater understanding of how to breakdown sub conscious and deep routed fears we carry around with us.

Join our challenge events Thursday 29 March, Rainbow Trust Children's Charity is holding a sponsored Fire and Glass walk at Lumley Castle in Chester Le Street, County Durham. Friday 30 March we will be holiding a Fire and Glass Walk at Guys Thatched Hamlet, Garstang.

Participants will be asked to seek sponsorship in recognition of this challenge, and all profits will go straight to Rainbow Trust.

The evening will provide an adrenaline rush of emotions. Walkers will find their fear and anxiety transformed into high energy and optimism. After walking across the difficult paths participants and spectators will join together for our celebrations.

This will be a truly memorable night. Achieve the impossible whilst helping us support terminally ill children and their families.

Each participant is required to pay £25 to guarantee their place. We ask that each walker raises a minimum of £150 in sponsorship. Proceeds from this event will help us to continue to support families with a very sick child.

Friends and family are positively encouraged to come along to support and soak up the atmosphere.

"After Rainbow Trust's firewalk, I felt so positive. I was able to transfer the skills into my every day life, which has been really helpful running a team of 15 ad execs. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to challenge themselves and get some great training to boot!" Matthew, ESN Media

How will Rainbow Trust support me?

Each participant will receive a fundraising pack with details about the event, and how to fundraise towards the target. On the night, there will be motivational training for all walkers enabling everyone to gain the confidence to complete the task.
