Do you want to take on the challenge of a lifetime in 2012? Rainbow Trust Children's Charity is now accepting applications for the Brighton Marathon 2012.
With up to 12,000 runners taking part in the Brighton Marathon, it is showing itself to be an increasingly popular alternative to the Virgin London Marathon. Taking place on Sunday 15 April, the fast, flat course winds through the city of Brighton taking in glorious coastal views, with a host of bands and music along the course to liven up the atmosphere.
How will Rainbow Trust support me? Training for and running a marathon whilst raising sponsorship and maintaining a daily routine at home and at work, is immensely demanding. We pride ourselves in giving our charity runners the best possible support and encouragement in the lead up to and after the event.
We will provide you with:
- A running pack full of great charity fundraising ideas and professional training advice
- Rainbow merchandise and fundraising materials to assist you in reaching your charity fundraising target
- An eye catching, professional Rainbow Trust running vest or t-shirt
- Loud, colourful support from our charity cheering squads on the day
How do I sign up for the Brighton Marathon 2012?
If you are lucky enough to have secured your own place, we'd love you to join our team and Run for Rainbow. There is no minimum fundraising target if you have your own place and any amount you raise will be greatly appreciated...all we ask is that you wear one of our Rainbow running vests on the day!
Alternatively we have a select few guaranteed places for the Brighton Marathon 2012; in exchange we ask that you pay a registration fee of £50 and raise £550 in sponsorship. As a special New Year's discount we are offering a registration fee of £40.
