On Wednesday 23rd November 2011, a ‘Wear it Rainbow’ Day, cake sale and ‘Win a Day off Work’ raffle marked the beginning of local company, MNPA’s support of Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity during 2011/12.
“We let our staff decide which Charity they would like MNPA to support for the coming 12 months and with over 100 votes, Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity were nominated our 2011/12 Charity of the Year. We were delighted the staff chose a charity that makes such a difference within our local community, working tirelessly to provide emotional and practical support to families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness. We look forward to working with the Corporate team at Rainbow to raise much needed funds and are proud to support them as our 2011/12 Charity of the Year."
Debbie Maxwell, Marketing Creative at MNPA.
MNPA have set a target of £3,000 for the year, to fund a month’s support for up to 25 local families.
Fundraising plans for the upcoming year include a mobile phone recycling campaign, ‘Bonus Ball’ month, quiz night & copper wars, in addition to marketing Rainbow’s events to their 200 plus employees, through an established Sports & Social department.
A huge thank you from everyone at Rainbow Trust for your wonderful support.
