Life Cycle was introduced into the business in the summer of 2009 and was built up around a series of cycling based events encouraging employee participation and engagement. Since then, Life Cycle has broadened to include a wider breadth of activities to encourage more employees to get involved. In 2011, DHL employees will take part in events such as Life Cycle, Life Walk, Life Bake, Life Football, Life in the Office and Life Cycle on Tour, to name just a few.
In 2010, more than 5,000 employees from across the UK participated and jointly reached and passed an incredible fundraising target of £70,000. This year, DHL hope to engage even more employees to take part and raise funds for Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity.
