“We did it!"
The most breathtaking view in the world
Our adventure began with a 5 mile hike around the town of Sedona, then following in the footsteps of 6 million visitors each year, and on the advice of our guide, we approached the South Rim entrance with our eyes closed. Then WOW one of the most breathtaking views in the world – The Grand Canyon.
An amazing time and £4,000 for Rainbow Trust
Only 1% of visitors actually trek down the steep tracks and switchbacks to the bottom of the canyon, so we feel part of quite an elite group. We set up our camp in the Havasupi Native Indian Reservation and spent the next 3 days caving, trekking and jumping down waterfalls! The scenery was amazing, the weather fantastic and we had the time of our life.”
“We are thrilled that we were able to raise over £4,000 for our favourite charity, knowing that Rainbow Trust and families in the North East will really benefit from our effort”.
