Memorial fund raises £13,000 for Rainbow Trust

Remembering a loved one

Friends and family came together in September to remember beloved daughter Sarah Hancock on what would have been Sarah's 30th Birthday, the event raised £2,400 for Rainbow Trust and The Compassionate Friends.

It was all hands on deck to make the night a success, sourcing prizes for the auction and the very popular 'win-bola'. Sarah's Mum Maggie had a great team including Paul, Sarah's Dad, who worked hard baking cakes, making Rainbow decorations and selling tickets.

Maggie, Sarah's Mum, explains;

"Having Sarah's Memorial fund I will always have a link to Rainbow Trust, Sarah's big sister Louise bravely skydived alongside four of Sarah's Primary School friends, and when my sister runs the Great North Run it all goes to the fund in memory of Sarah. Every time we see a Rainbow it make us think of Rainbow Trust and we remember Sarah - she loved Rainbows"

Thank you

Since the Memorial fund was set up in 2005 it has raised an incredible £13,000 for Rainbow Trust.
