Zumba Party dances the night away and raises £1,600
On 7th October, Debbie Bailey and Family Support Worker, Jayne Abbott, raised almost £1,600 at a Zumba and Just Jhoom Dance Party. The event welcomed 150 enthusiastic Zumba participants along with 8 instructors, who teach in the West Wiltshire and Somerset area. The night was a great success with people of all ages, with the oldest participant on the night aged 85!
The fun, motivating workout was followed by refreshments and a disco for everyone to try out their new moves. Congratulations to Debbie Bailey and the Swindon Team for making the event such a fantastic success.
"Zumba has raised millions for various charities and they encourage instructors to run an event each year for a chosen registered charity. Jayne, a dear and long standing friend, works for the Rainbow Trust, and after seeing the hard and caring work that the charity do, I decided that Rainbow Trust would be my chosen charity for 2011" Debbie Bailey.
