Great North Run

What's it all about?

Another fantastic Great North Run took place from the iconic Tyne Bridge to South Shields and the North Sea coast. 175 Rainbow Runners pounded the pavements on a gloriously sunny day in the North East.

A huge thank you to all our fabulous runners who wore the new Rainbow vests with pride. It was wonderful to greet so many Rainbow regulars as well as loads of new faces in our hospitality marquee in the charity village. Our three masseuses were kept busy massaging tired legs as volunteers manned the Starbucks Coffee, tea urn and chocolate bars!

The sponsorship money is rolling in as we head towards our £70k target.

19 September 2010 is the must add date for your diary...yes our list for the 2010 run is already growing, so don’t miss out!
