Do you want to have access to a proactive professional development programme and be able to participate in a range of training opportunities? Read on for examples of how Rainbow Trust trains staff from basic food hygiene to management training.
At Rainbow Trust we are committed to offering ongoing training and development opportunities. All employees have a comprehensive induction programme which introduces you to all areas of the organisation. All Support Workers undertake the following mandatory training.
- Manual Handling
- Basic Food Hygiene
- Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Children
- Health and Safety
- First Aid
We also provide specific courses tailored to the needs of the job role. Such courses may include:
- Bereavement Training
- Record Keeping and Documentation training
- Introduction to counselling
Team days are also arranged for sharing best practice and are used to give updates on relevant developments and techniques.
Vocational and Management Training Development
Individual training and development requirements are identified and reviewed annually during the performance review process.
