Who we help

Who is eligible?

Life threatening conditions are those for which curative treatment is available but might fail. Severe neurological conditions may also be deemed life threatening once their cumulative effects cause weakness and susceptibility to major health complications.

Who can make a referral?

Anyone can make a referral to Rainbow Trust as long as it is with the knowledge and permission of the family involved. A referral can be made either in writing or by telephone. Following a referral, an assessment visit will be arranged and the family’s individual circumstances discussed. Once the assessment is complete, if appropriate, services will be organised and provided.

How soon can I get help?

In a crisis situation, we can arrange for support to be provided within 24 hours of a referral being received.
